I feel as though my current internship is like this.
ReplyDeleteI didn't go through two years of VT school to become a glorified receptionist who happens to be able to restrain animals when asked. What's worse is that they offered me a part-time job when I'm out of school.
I didn't say "No" outright, but I'll definitely be checking out other options that are a little bit more hands-on.
Thankfully, it's only a 5-week internship and this is coming to the end of week 2, so it's not, well, EXACTLY like the comic. But there are definitely some similarities.
