Louisiana's Governor is an Oily Whore

More photos here.

GOP Governor Bobby Jindal says Louisiana needs more of this!

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal wrote President Obama a letter on Wednesday criticizing his decision to implement a temporary moratorium of deepwater drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

Arguing that his state had already suffered crippling economic consequences, the Louisiana Republican urged Obama to rethink his decision to suspend activity at 33 previously permitted deepwater drilling rigs -- including 22 "currently in operation off the Louisiana coast."

Joining Jindal in his call to lift the moratorium is Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) who accused the Obama administration of pursuing a policy that "could kill thousands of Louisiana jobs."

David Vitter, for those who have forgotten, is the GOP diaper-wearer.

  1. Does David "Diapers" Vitter not understand that BP has ALREADY killed "thousands of Louisiana jobs"??? What a total tool.

As for Jindal, the wuss couldn't even complete the exorcism of his college girlfriend. When the "demon" turned up the heat, he pussed-out. Here's a link detailing the story:

(Wish I knew how to drop a live link, sorry!)

Great leadership in Louisiana, eh? Hell, even D.C. eventually got away from our "Mayor For life", Marion Barry!

  3. Between this idiot in the pocket of big business, the senator who likes to play kinky with the hookers, and the governor of MS that says oil is not toxic so it's no big deal ... you wonder about the people that vote these idiots into office. Oh...wait... it's idiots that vote them in.

Really, no need to worry about Al Quaeda we have big business doing a far better job of destroying America than a band of misguided religious zealots. Oh I guess we have some of those here too.

The dumbing down of America, where millions are willing to vote against their very self-interests and hand over everthing to corporations.

Glad I have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. This is getting way too depressing.

  4. Reminds me of a scene from the Naked Gun 2, in which a zoo is completely trashed and the animals are running all over DC:

"Do you realize that because of you, this city is being overrun by baboons?"
"Well, isn't that the fault of the voters?"

Some of those pictures are nothing short of depressing. Today's paper showed a dead turtle covered in sludge and floating in an entire sea of it. If this doesn't bring on the revolution for more electric cars (even the fabled hydrogen-ion cars they promised us years ago), I don't know what will.
