Nothing to Fear But Fear Itself

I hear Sarah Palin will now be serenading us on Fox News, where she will be joining Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly and other American terrorists hell-bent on fomenting fear, hate and paranoia.

The GOP has now officially become the party of tea baggers, crackpots, halfwits and nutters. Perfect!

  1. Sarah Palin reminds me of an Ecuadoran politician named Abdala Bucaram. He ran on a very extreme anti-establishment populist platform.

And he wound up serving as president for about six months. While office he invited Lorena Bobbitt over for a state dinner (She's a famous Ecuadoran). He called a political opponent a burro, and then apologized for insulting donkeys. He did lots of crazy things. He even ran as El Loco (the madman).

The Ecuadoran congress removed him from office because of his incapacidad mental (mental disability) and because he was more crooked than a dog's hind leg.

You know what he does now?

He's a famous television personality, and he serenaded the winner of the World Banana Queen contest.

Sarah Palin is very similar. She is La Loca of American politics.

  2. I am still somewhat conservative in a few ways, but I had seriously given up on that party years ago. If one is judged by the company one keeps (virtual company included), it's no sweat off my back to go my own way. Especially now that Palin is there...

I've found NPR to have much more engaging programs anyway. I'd rather seek information such as what they offer rather than hate, paranoia and propaganda.

And to make myself not appear overly biased, I'd also like to say that I gave up on the other party too.
