Work Them Hard, Treat Them Like Heroes
David Harcombe has come out with a new book of terrier tales that I think can fairly be said to be his life's work: "Work Them Hard, Treat Them Like Heroes".
This is an excellent 350-page read with more than 100 color photographs, detailing many of the dogs in David's life. Order yours today!

What kind of terriers are those?
ReplyDeleteMuddy and happy ones, yes, but which breed?
Patterdales. Dave's first dog was a Russell, and he has owned Borders too (hardest dog he ever owned he says was a Border), but he's been a Patterdale man for quite a while (though I think he would say color hardly matters so long as you have the right sort).
