Murdering Thugs Cannot Catch a Break

Never shoot a dog owned by the last surviving member of a Navy Seal team, especially when that dog is named after his four dead Seal Team mates.

Just saying ...

  1. I remember seeing this when it occurred in April.
Glen Beck used it to get some creds with his public and it went around a few other blogs.
It's an amazing story, folks went out of their way to offer sympathy and another puppy.

  2. *scans article for the obligatory "We NEVER recommend doing what this guy did" statement*...aaand there it is!

Seriously, if more people showed some resolve to get even (without actually trying to get themselves killed, if possible), we might see a change in crime figures. It doesn't take a black-belt in Karate or a lifetime in boxing to make you more assertive. Then again, I fully realize that there is no more helpless feeling in the world than having a gun pointed at you with the intent to shoot.

As an aside, I got the "We NEVER recommend doing that" lecture from the police when I kept the idiot talking until a customer came in and saw what was going on and called 911. He ran. Nothing was taken, no lives were lost. But what I did was wrong, apparently, based on my own terrorized judgment of the immediate situation?
