This is Good Political Advocacy



I would not normally write on this legislation because the bill is so poorly crafted and so poorly thought out, that I think it is has ZERO chance of getting out of subcommittee, much less full committee.

That said, I will give the campaign to kill this legislation a small boost because this is such a good outreach effort using Youtube (put a face on it!), connected to an internet web site (give them a place to get more information), and tied to interactivity (email congress and PLEASE CALL ALSO).

    Non-native dogs and cats? The regular house cat is non-native to the US. While dogs are "native" I guess, there are breeds that have been imported from other countries. So maybe only "native" dogs?
