Yep, the majority rules: a large raptor nailing a rabbit, and the "mantling" over the catch so as to hide it from any other greedy raptors that might be about.
The person who took this photo thought it was an owl, but I am not sure owls mantle as they hunt in the dark and I doubt they worry too much about their food being stolen from another hawk or eagle. But what do I know? A bird of prey and rabbit for sure!
That's a lovely outline of an eagle or other large prey bird absconding with a rabbit or other small prey.
