Puppy Prozac, Parrot Prozac and Horse Heartburn
Business Week reports that Eli Lilly has launched Reconcile, a beef-flavored chewable tablet form of Prozac that is supposed to help treat dogs for separation anxiety. >> To read more

A friend who is in the veterinary pharmaceutical business says the antacid drug Prilosec has long been given to horses who often suffer gastric distress due to being transported to new quarters, stabled alone and/or being given certain kinds of medical attention (such as floating teeth or new shoes). The horse version of Prilosec is sold as GastroGard.
