There is an older book called Master of...<br />Patrick,<br /><br />There is an older book called Master of Game which contains reference to working terriers/ cur dogs below ground.<br />This book was based primarily on Gaston III, Count of Foix, (also known as Gaston Phoebus) Livre de chasse, which was originally composed in 1387. The Master of Game was written by Edward of Norwich, 2nd Duke of York, between 1406 and 1413 mostly while being held prisoner for having treasonous designs against his cousin, Henry IV.
