This Is Not Normal
Donald Trump is the first American President in over 100 years without a dog.
The last dog-less president was William McKinley, who died just over a year into his second term after developing gangrene following an assassination attempt.

To be fair (much as it pains me), neither Bill Clinton nor Barack Obama owned dogs at this point in their presidencies.
