Before we went bicycling, the pups and I hit some fields where I expected sunflowers would be planted for dove season. This year, no sunflowers and also no doves. I assume it was too wet to plant them this spring. It looks like something else has been planted in this location, but it's not yet seeding, and there were no birds. I am not sure what it is, but it might be brown millet. You can just see the stuff behind the fountain of grass.
