Biggest Wild Norway Rat?

Brian Plummer claimed he once caught a very young "grey" rat that was already over 2 pounds in weight -- a function, he believed, of a tumor on its pituitary gland of the type that can also create gigantism in humans.

Plummer, of course, had no pictures (he never had pictures), but this story sounded very plausible, and indeed, this picture from The Grimsby Telegraphsuggests at least one other giant rat has shown up. This one was caught at private property in Church Lane in Grimsby, and even factoring in forced perspective, it's a very big rat.
