While out scouting for den settes, I came across this dead 6-pointer. Since black powder has not started, I assume there is an arrow wound on the other side.
Flies have already taken the eyes, and are in and out of the mouth, with fur sloughing off the back. I might set up a camera to see what predates on this carcass.
No shortage of deer tracks all over the farm. There is a massive deer surplus in this area.
