Pope Confirms That All Dogs Go To Heaven

In his weekly address at the Vatican, Pope Francis has said that the promise of an afterlife applies not only to believers, but to all animals as well.
"The Holy Scriptures teach us that the realization of this wonderful plan covers all that is around us, and that came out of the thought and the heart of God. Heaven is open to all creatures, and there [they] will be vested with the joy and love of God, without limits.”

Yay! Now that I know, I will have to work harder at getting there myself.

I remember getting expelled from Wednesday Catechism class for arguing with the Nun who was teaching. My Grandma was furious and we 'argued' all the way home, her shouting and I crying. I had just lost my Rat Terrier Spot to a heart attack or something like and I was in no mood for their adult stupidity. How can a dog not go to heaven. More recently, Pope John Paul II said that "animals possess a soul and men must love and feel solidarity with our smaller brethren" and that animals are "'as near to God as men are".
And Pope Francis took his name for a reason, I'm sure.

I guess then that we humans can drop our morality and act like animals; with the Pope's blessing!
