Training a Dog to Stay Away from Horses

Horses can be very good dogs trainers. One well-timed "click" and this dog got the message.

This is not the safest way to to stock-break a dog to horses, but it's certainly the oldest way.

Isn't it interesting how the dog acted like he was dying, then calmly went back to the owners? I'd be curious to see if he had any lasting injuries from that (but I'll bet not).

Just as interesting is that the owners, who were obviously allowing the dog to run loose and therefore should have been prepared to shrug if something happened, did not leap up in high dudgeon and demand that the horse be destroyed (or the rider pay for vet care or whatever) for kicking their precious Poopsie.

That wasn't in America, was it?
